DAW - Optimizacija WinXP-a !

Cuo sam da je stelovanje Windowsa XP za rad sa muzikom drugacije. Dal mi neko moze objasniti koje parametre moram ispostovati za pravilan rad?
Namjeravam koristiti Nuendo 2.0 i neki dobar sempler(software). Radije bih koristio 98-icu ali ona ne podrzava 1GB ili 2GB RAM-a.
Ako je vazno, maticna ploca ce biti P4C800 DELUXE i sound karta LUNA(II ili EX,koja je prava?).
Sta mi se moze preporuciti? Molim za upute. :roll: :roll: :roll:

imamo istu plocu i slicnu karticu (ja iman pulsar).
win98 zaboravi i instaliraj xp.

moras bit jako oprezan kad instaliras system i narocito SFP software na tu plocu, jer ako falijes nece ti nista radit!

najbitnije od svega je da prije instalacije u biosu iskjucis HT!
onda ides sa standardnon instalacijon xp-a, bez ikakvih kerefeka, po sistemu "next, next..."
nakon instalacije xp-a instaliraj sfp sa svim driverima i onda mozes (ako zelis) u biosu ponovo ukjucit HT.
znaci, bitno je SFP instalirat sa iskjucenin HT-om, za ostale programe nije bitno.

takodjer bi ti savjetova da nakon instalacije xp-a i sfp-a updateas drivere od konpjutera u Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC - meni se pokazalo da tako system najbolje radi.

e sad ti evo sto ja jos radin, a ako netko ima primjedbe neka ispravi i dopuni.

1. Processor scheduling stavi na background services (ovo je jako vazno).
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance Settings > Advanced Tab > Background Services

2. Visual effects stavi na minimum.
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance Settings > Visual Effects Tab > Adjust for best performance
(btw: ja onda pribacin na custom i ukjucin samo use common task in folders)

3. iskjuci Desktop Background Image
Right Click Desktop > Properties > Desktop Tab > Background None

4. iskjuci Screen Saver
Right Click Desktop > Properties > Screen Saver > None

5. iskjuci Fast User Switching
Start > Settings > Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off > Untick Use Fast User Switching

6. iskjuci Power Schemes
Start > Settings > Control Panel > Power Options > Always On > Turn off monitor and turn off hard discs to Never

8. aktiviraj DMA na Hard Diskovima/CD ROMS
Start > Settings > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers > Right Click Primary IDE channel and Secondary IDE channel > Properties > Advanced Settings Tab > Transfer Mode to "DMA if available" for both devices.

10. Do Not Map Through Soundcard

pazi da ti luna ne dijeli irq-ove sa necim! ova ploca je vrlo zajebana za to nastimat i ja to radim po princiupu "chorave koke", jer neznan drukcije sa ovon plocon :oops:
zbog ovega ti je dobro u biosu USB i sve portove koje ne koristis iskjucit!

Pitam jer sam prije neki dan kupio novu konfiguraciju, a ht mi je bio uključen u biosu i prije instalacije XP-a.

napisa san da je to bilo bitno samo za instalaciju creamwareovih kartica i softwarea v3.xx, za ostale kartice ne znan, ali pretpostavljam da ne treba nista dirat, jer ni sa novom verzijom softwarea 4.0 za pulsar isto ne treba iskjucivat ht prije instalacije.

sto se tice funkcije samoga ht-a, to ce ti zvincic bolje objasnit.
ja mislin da nije izmisljen bez veze. ako ga programi podrzavaju, sa njim bi trebalo da radi nesto brze. meni je ht ponekad iskjucen a ponekad ukjucen. nisan radi nikakve testove i usporedbe, ali ovako u normalnon radu ne vidin razlike.
sistem radi stabilno sa ht i bez ht.

a zasto 'kvazi'! ht pokazuje 2 procesora iako je samo jedan. vjerojatno zato 'kvazi'. ton logikon je i acpi 'kvazi'... uostalon, cesto ce sistemi bolje radit u standard pc modu (koji nije 'kvazi').

nego, moga bi nan milton rec je li jos uvik zagovara atlone ili se ipak u medjuvrimenu opameti?!

ako se radi o sbb hub-u sad je search time oko 80 sec. i postoji neki problem sa cvoristem kod ownera hub-a (mislim da je bezanija u piptanju) pa dosta ljud poispada skoro pa stalno ...

nego ja imam problem sa mnogo svchostova upaljenih , ne znam koje da poiskljucujem jer mi vuce cpu kad sam online i upaljen mi je npr. bs player pa slika koci ...

Jeste sbb, ali nema veze sa time. Ispravka: ne radi mi search ni download uopste u dc++ na bilo kom serveru! Zna li neko koju od ovih opcija za optimizovanje XP-a treba da "vratim" ?

ja sa ACPI-em ukljuchenim ni jednoj komponenti nisam mogao da diram IRQ.. morao sam da instaliram ponovo Win kao Standard PC...

klala mi se zvuchna sa grafichkom.. to je zajebano..

edit: sad sam video da je ovo 6a strana.. jbg..
