Meni je takva ukus... volim kada vocal ima neku "intimnost", kada se cuje blizu, kada je gotovo suv, a posebno volim flah pevanje... flah pevan blizu mikrofona, sa velikim gain-om, gotovo bez reverba, meni zvuci Bozanstveno... Opet stvar ukusa... Samo zbog toga kako je odradjen vocal mi se dopala npr. pesma "Aisha", neke rap grupe... obrada Off Spring... Sad... +26 db... nisam imao prilike da se poigram sa takvom spravom i neznam bas da li je potrebno, pa necu da loopam... Verovatno da vocal nebih svirnuo na +20... elektricnu gitaru mozda i bih... neznam... sve sto bih rekao je nagadjanje...

Bice da tvoj mikrofon nema bas toliko dBu koliko ti mislis... Pronadji maksimalni headroom tvog AD konvertora... nateraj ga mikrofonom na pocetak klipa... ako imas izbazdareno na gainu mikrofonskog pojacavaca koliko on pojacava onda procitaj tu vrednost... I ako ti je recimo 0dBFS na AD na +20dBu, a gain pre ampa recimo 40dB, onda ti na ulazu mikrofon pravi u peaku (kada ti zaklipuje AD konvertor) nekih +20dBu-40dB=-20dBu (!!!) a to je oko 46dB manje nego sto ti smatras da treba tvoj mikrofonski preamp da izdrzi na svojim ulazima... Ako vec ocekujes divljanje iz mikrofona, mislim da je bolje ici sa minimalnim gainom... ili baci malo na papir decibele pa vidi sta mora tvoj pre amp da zadovolji... pozdrav bogi

Kad smo kod headrooma AD\DA konvertora, evo sta kaze:
Input Level definition The 'standardized' studio levels do not result in a (often desired) full scale level, but take some additional digital headroom into consideration. The amount of headroom is different in different standards and again differently implemented by different manufacturers. Because of this we decided to define the levels of the ADI-2 in a most compatible way. The headroom of the ADI-2 is defined according to the chosen reference level. Reference 0 dBFS @ Headroom Lo Gain +19 dBu 15 dB +4 dBu +13 dBu 9 dB -10 dBV +2 dBV 12 dB At +4 dBu a headroom of 9 dB offers a problem-free operation with most devices, and meets the latest EBU recommendations for Broadcast usage. At -10 dBV 12 to 15 dB headroom are common practice, each mixing desk operating at -10 dBV is able to send and receive much higher levels. Lo Gain allows to work with high levels, best suited for professional users who prefer to work balanced and at highest levels. E, sad... Pevanje o kom sam ti pricao je prilicno tiho... tako da gain popnem i na +40 db i nema cvrchanja, ako se snimaju urlatorski delovi, onda gain spustim i na +15 db, a u oba slucaja Output na preampu drzim na 0 db...

Sto se tice ulaza... zavisi... nekad Lo Gain, nekad +4 dBu...
P,T,B... Pevachi sa kojima radim umeju to da minimalizuju... Naravno, tu je pop-filter, a mic postavim tako da prakticno peva nesto malo ispod membrane (usta u visini prekidacha na microfonu) Kompresor, limiter itd... ne koristim prilikom usnimavanja... Kasnije na traci sa vocalom radim Low Cut, kompresiju, ekvalizaciju... ali... to je vec deseta prica... -10 dBu koristim kada usnimavam linijski instrument direktno u AD... ili kad recimo idem iz POD gitarskog procesora kojem je izlaz nebalansiran...
