A Few Reasons Your Submission May Be Rejected by Pump Audio:

* Poor production quality and/or recording techniques
* Unbalanced mixes
* Too much reverb/effects/compression
* Unintended distortion - clipping - mix is too hot
* Poor musicianship/performances
* Singing out of tune/playing out of tune
* Unlicensed samples
* Blatant copyright infringement, or anything considered "too close"
* Anything racist or otherwise bigoted or offensive
* Noisy or hissy elements within the mix
* Poor signal to noise ratio
* Sounds like stock music
* Synthesized/programmed drum sounds on otherwise acoustic songs
* Dated sounds
* Poor synth/electronic sounds/textures
* Poor composition, whether intended or not
* Using or even thinking about using the chorus effect
* Use of lo-fi/compressed drum breaks in Country songs
* One word: keytar
* Touching the whammy bar in a weird and inappropriate manner

Of course there's a subjective element to music, but being guilty of any of the above musical infractions will almost certainly cause Pump to reject your submission. We hope that you continue to submit your music to Pump, and as always, we wish you all the best in your musical endeavors.
