Nisam u toj vrsti muzike ali sam danas igrom slucaja cuo ovu stvari i video spot....ostao sam bez teksta...toliko jake i iskrene emocije u nekoj pesmi nisam cuo godinama...najezim se svaki put kad cujem ( pogledam ) pesmu .
Muzika sjajna, tekst ( koji inace nikada ne slusam) fenomenalan, video savrsen....

btw, Trent Reznor je tu malo popizdeo jer je nakon te stvari Johny "otisao" i ostao upamcen kao da je pesma njegova..

potpuno identičan utisak sam imao kao moritz, i do dan danas imam kad čujem tu verziju. To su uglavnom prva tri akorda koja odsviram kad se dohvatim neke akustare.

Ne lupetaj, džoni je objavio 4 albuma American History, čak je zapaženije prošao "Personal Jesus" od Depeche mode. Nit je ostao upamćen kao njegova pesma, nit je Trent popizdeo.

e da, kuriozitet je da je produkciju ta 4 albuma potpisao Rick Rubin, bukvalno snimajući čoveka mikrofonom u krevetu na samrti.

i ja sam isto fan te pesme.. i produkcije iste.. i sad ste mi srushili kule i gradove.. mislio sam da je njegova pesma u originalu..

I've been friends with Rick Rubin for quite a while, and he asked me how I would feel about Johnny Cash doing one of my songs. I thought, "Wow," because my songs have been my therapy, a vehicle for me to keep sane. I've never really thought about writing songs for other people, and I've never tried to pitch my songs to people. And that song in particular came from a pretty private, personal place. So it seemed, well, like that's my song.

Rick sent me a CD of it. I listened to it, and it seemed incredibly strange and wrong to me to hear that voice with my song. I thought, "Here's this thing that I wrote in my bedroom in a moment of frailty, and now Johnny Cash is singing it." It kind of freaked me out

Rick asked what I thought, and I said, "You did a very tasteful job with it" -- which I did think and do think. It was a big juxtaposition for me to hear it as someone else's song now. It instantly became his song after that.

Naravno da je tako, malo ljudi zna da je album (Downward spiral) u biti post narkomanski, i svojevrsna Trentova self terapija. I sam prevod naziva albuma to kaze (narodski receno visoko si leteo al si nisko pao)... I vecina pesama je u tom polu sef-hejt fazonu, recimo "Becoming"... Pa onda refren u "Heresy" (God is dead, and no one care, if there is a hell, i'll see you there)... Album je vrlo "intiman" i s razlogom je popizdeo

ok, imaš argument, ali je i dalje izvučen iz konteksta. Ovu informaciju gore navedenu nisam do sad video i hvala na deljenju iste.

Downward spiral je zaista remek delo i neponovljiva prica...posebno trenutka u kome je nastao....... ali ,ruku na srce J. Cash je izuo koliko je lepo izneo tu pesmu... a i Rick R. je napravio fantastican posao sa njegovim vokalom.....sirovo , retro i pravo u celo.
