Moja greska za ADI-2,nisam video SPDIF,sorry..:ups:
Nemam konkretne prakse sa ADI-2,cuo sam samo kako zvuci ali po elementarnoj logici trebao bi da radi istovremeno konverziju u oba pravca.Da dobije signal na SPDIF in,prosledi ga na XLR uz istovremeno da primi signal sa XLR-a i vrati na SPDIF out.Vecina konvertora radi istovremene konverzije u oba pravca,verovatno i ADI ali svakako je bolje da neko sa foruma,ko ima prakse sa ADI-2 to i potvrdi.

da, i meni logika govori da bi trebao moći i van i unutra, i digitalno i analogno.
ako netko zna iz prve ruke za ADI-2 ili neki drugi konverter ili način za takvo ne?to bio bih veoma zahvalan na informaciji/prijedlogu.

spdif istovremeno moze dati ulaz i izlaz. jedan cinch je za stereo in, drugi za out, takodje i opticki in/out

Posto kazes da dosta koristis spoljni procesing,a vec imas par pristojnih preampa,ja bih se otarasio FP10 i razmislio o mozda Lynx Aurora 8. Sa time bi imao opciju 8xAD konvertora za usnimavanja a pri mixu mozes konfigurisati varijantu 2+6,recimo da dva kanala koristis za monitoring a 6 ti ostaje za external procesing.U cubase-u recimo napravis konfiguracije za 6 external FX-s i imas ih svih 6 u radu na insertima gde ti sta treba i 6 outboard sprava koristis istovremeno....

Edit:moja greska,ADI-2 nema SPDIF tako da otpada u kombinaciji sa FP-10.Pogledaj ima li sta od dvakanalnih opcija i kod http://www.blacklionaudio.com/content.php?p=29

Slican predlog - jeftin a cool
Ako uzmes delta rack (pci slot) koja ima izuzetno cist ton, imas alternativu za presonus u snimanju, ili dodatnih 8 ulaz/izlaza u snimanju, ili 8 send/8 ret..
kasnije, ako ti vise lezi delta, batalis presonus, prodas i kupis samo neki stereo vrhunski adda za recording bitnih instrumenata na 2 kanala (vokala napr...), mada sama delta uz dobro predpojacalo razbija..

ps. da li snimas cisto ili vec zamasceno?
po meni je bolja opcija ici cisto (osim gde nisi 100% siguran u zvuk da je taj) pa kasnije u procesingu ponovo provlaciti kroz adekvatna predpojacala, overdrivove, zamascivace... jer onda mozes da biras, odustajes... menjas.

da li si probao istovremeno izlaziti i ulaziti i analogno i digitalno?
ili zna? iz prve/druge ruke?

jako dobar konverter, inače se polako gubi slika i procesing nije
iste kakvoće.
dakle, meni treba 2 AD/DA hi-end za snimanje-AD/monitoring-DA/processing-DA&AD
da li kupiti odvojeno AD i DA pa imati dvije ?katulice ili neka pedeseta opcija....svaki prijedlog dobrodo?ao.

mislim da je delta bolja od presonusa, imam je, vrhunski cist ton, nema predpojacala, samo line, oko 400eur (500usa?)
pogledaj podatke, uporedi sa adi i presonusom, a ja sam je testirao sa rme analizerom-bila je excelent
za out/in kao send bi bila odlicna, sigurno dosta bolja od procesinga koji ces koristiti na sendovima (narocito distorzije i sl)

U isto vreme sam koristio spdif in/out na vise uredjaja, radi ok.
na delti najstabilnija na svim freq... + ima world clock za sinhro...

Pa normalno,kakva muljava delta 1010???Jedva je se resih i u ono vreme kada je bila jedna od retkih 8in-8out kartica.

ma necu kupovati deltu, ne vidim nikakvog smisla pa i da mi i bude bolja od presonusa, nema smisla, ionako ću kad tad zavr?iti sa nečim jačim, pa za?to bi sada skakao sa jednog ponija na magarca ili obrnuto.:)
cranesong nisam čuo ali čini mi se da je super.
rme onda ne bih uzimao kada ka?e? da neću reći Vauuu,
a i načitao sam se da je mrvicu ispod "Vauuu" konvertera
pa bi grunuo pare na ne?to jače, da sam na konju ?to se tiče same konverzije.
apogee, lavry i slični konverteri se i meni čine da ko?taju puno za ono ?to nude samo ?to mi se isto tako čini, koliko i ekipa govori, da nisu toliko neutralni te da imaju neku određenu "vibru". a znam i albume koji su snimani sa njima. okej, oni su jedni od sto uređaja koji su kori?teni za dotične albume ali krenuo bih od toga, da mi to bude kako spada pa makar ne imao ostali hi-end stuff. nek bude snimljeno kako spada, monitoring mi je rje?en, pa ?to se ne mo?e rje?iti zbog nedostatka alata, naći će se već ideja i način kako da bend zvuči ?armantno i na mjestu.:)

mytek i benchmark sam imao priliku čuti i zvuče mi jako neutralno,
u toliko da mi ispada da pjesma nema neku uzbudljivost koliko je sve ravno i plosnato.
tako da bih mo?da uzeo ne?to od te dvije firme za DA, da pobolj?am monitoring i za vađenje kanala na procesing. ali AD bih uzeo ne?to sa koloritom.
i dalje nisam siguran kako bih sve to integrirao sam presonusom jer većina firmi tog ranga, kojeg gledam, rade standalone konvertere pa bi mi onda jo? bio tro?ak i komlikacija kupovati za njih nekakve firewire kartice i slično....
