Na prosloj strani sam ostavio jedan link gde se to spominje. Takodje sam i naletao po gearslutz-u, kao i na nekim drugim forumima u prethodnih par godina, ali stvarno ne mogu da se setim naziva tema, pa ne mogu da ti navedem tacan link.

Sto se plugova tice, evo Waves V serija, na primer:

Izvod iz manuala, pri vrhu strane br.2:

"Because these three plug-ins are modeled after analogue processors, they are optimally
used at an operating level where 0 dBFS = +22 dBU. (This information is helpful when
calibrating your session.)
"

Sam vrh strane br.5:
"In the analogue domain, ideal levels tend to fall between 0 and +5 dBU. Translated
to the digital domain, which is measured in dBFS, 0 dBU = -22 dBFS. This means
that ideal input levels to the V-Comp range from -22 to -17 dBFS. This may take a
bit of getting used to, since those accustomed to the digital world often seek the
hottest level on each track. However, Waves engineers chose to model the VComp precisely after the original hardware, so it is preferable to provide input
levels similar to those expected by an analogue master bus compressor.

Ti takodje kazes kako je -18dbFS prenisko, sto u 24bitnom snimanju objektivno nije tacno, jer kad snimas na tom bit depth-u raspolazes headroom-om od cak 144db. Jeste, treba pojacati monitore, ali svakako nije prenisko, i ne gubi se na kvalitetu snimka.
Ja licno uglavnom ne radim na analognoj opremi (sem sto upotrebljavam eksterne preampe poneki put), ali volim malo da se tripujem da radim k'o bajagi , pa se trudim da ne klipujem buseve (cak ni virtuelno) u samom startu, sto svakako ne moze biti lose. Cak i ubrzava miksovanje kad se naviknes.

Takodje, ono sto sam naveo je da je i vrlo korisno match-ovati nivoe pre i posle nekog plugina, da bi zaista video da li ti taj plugin dodaje ili oduzima na kvalitetu, sto samo po sebi dovodi do toga da ne klipujes buseve.

Mnogo mi je pomogao mali plugin zvan Sonimus Satson u svemu tome. Ima odlican VU metar, pa se preko njega trudim da mi igla igra oko nule skoro uvek (sto za udaraljke ne vazi jel'te, njih VU metar ne moze precizno da uvati, ali na njima ganjam razumne nivoe).

U knjizi 'Mixing with you mind' od Michael Stavros-a (odlicnaa knjiga), autor sam savetuje da se osnovni nivoi na konzoli postave preko trimova, jer ti to daje puno prostora da miks podesavas posle preko fadera. Jeste da ne radim na konzoli, ali kad spustas fader na kanalu u svom DAW-u, smanjujes mu rezoluciju (najosetljiviji je oko nule), sto je jos jedan razlog da ganjas ok nivoe od starta.
Sad sam se raspisao, ali jedno utice na drugo, jebiga.
