During his Macworld Expo 2006 keynote in January, Steve Jobs unveiled the first Macs powered by the Intel "Core Duo" processor. The transition has begun."

"... Current wintel manufactureres will also be using Yonah (Core Duo) chips - it would be very compelling for "Dell" to bundle Darwin and Windows and run them in the virtualization mode. Apple would then be going head to head with Red Hat!"

"... As part of the Boot Camp rollout, Apple has posted firmware updates for all of their Intel-based Macs that are required to activate Boot Camp. These firmware updates bring BIOS support to the Macs' EFI, which should allow these machines to boot most any PC operating system with appropriate drivers."

"... Asustek Computer Inc. (a.k.a. ASUS), a leading PC motherboard maker, has won a contract from Apple to produce "iBook notebook personal computers" - 1.2 million of them, initially. The laptops will be powered by an Intel CPU (no surprise there) and equipped with 13.3" LCD panels, sourced from AU Optronics Corp, Chi Mei Optoelectronics, and LG Philips LCD."

Meni radi sjajno na AMD64 3000+ evo već pet meseci. Sve periferije rade besprekorno.

OK. Teorijski je i moguce ako AMD procesor ima SSE2 (intelove) instrukcije.
Koja zvucna, graficka... itd.?

Da li to znaci da PC postaje MAC, tj. intteresuje me sustinski da li u tom slucaju se instaliraju driveri za Mac i takodje programi za Mac?
