Default Prydz effect

Evo par tekstova iz Future Music-a o Prydz effectu...na stranom jeziku...bolje da ne prevodim
FM172 mart 2006
"If your bass line isn't dynamic enough, try applying a compressor with a side chain and sending the output of your kick drum to tigger the compressor..."
FM180
"Cast your mind back almost a two years ago to Eric Prydz chart topping Call On Me.A big feature of this record was it's pumping quality, where a compressor placed over the mix output was fed from the track's kick drum.
Every time the kick drum plays, the compressor reduces the gain over the mix, and done extremely, this produces the "Prydz effect"...Over the mix output, I placed a typical 'mastering' setup, complete with compressor and limiter to add some more power.
However, I side-chained the compressor, so that, rather than analysing the entrie mix as it normally would, it responds instead to the vass drum's signal.
I made this track to Logic, wich doesn't allow you to directly feed a virtual instrument into a plug-in's side chain. So, I sent the bass drum to a buss, turned off the buss' output so the bass drum isn't heard, and then side-chained the compressor from that buss..."
