The big UAD-2 news (in short order): Manley Massive Passive EQ, EMT Plate 140 Reverb and Precision Enhancer Hz Powered Plug-Ins coming in February. New UAD partnerships announced with Ampex (tape & machines); Lexicon (reverb & effects); DBX (dynamics); Studer (tape machines); and Dunlop/MXR (classic guitar & studio eff...ects). Universal Audio's plug-in product manager Will Shanks succinctly noted, "Booyah," and fist pumped several times, when asked for official comment.

the EMT Plate 140 is effectively the same as the current Plate 140, with a few more exposed controls for easier operation -- plus the official EMT authentication and badge. It will be a free upgrade for all current Plate 140 owners w/ software v. 5.6.
