Default Re: Lexicon najavio Plugin reverb

Ehm da...za skeptike i one "pametne" evo sto kaze covjek koji radi 30 godina algoritme za lexicon:

There of course is skepticism about ITB verbs, but it's really about the code. Converters and op-amps (unless they suck) have had nothing to do with reverb sound for 12-15 years. What we want to do is to have the appropriate solution for people. In some cases (live, install, etc) folks are more comfortable with 'hardware' solutions. We've got the new PCM family for them. But if you're happier working with software only, or if you take your work around to different computers, we hope you'll find these plugins useful.

No one has more intricate knowledge of Lexicon hardware and DSP than I do (not bragging--it's what a few decades of this job get you). These algorithms were once prohibitive, but general-purpose CPUs have evolved considerably. They are more than up to the job nowadays.

By all means hang onto your hardware. If you've got a solution or a partial solution that works, why throw it out? But there are many people who work purely in software or with control-only consoles or in hybrid situations. High-quality plugins may be the solution for them.
