Poor Mick. A great guitar player gets sucked into playing on what is clearly the WORST album I have heard in years. The songwriting is so awful (all songs "written" by Sasha Gracanin) and the singing (again, by Gracanin) is so utterly bad it defies description; but think Ronnie James Dio singing while having his prostate examined. This guy is so horrible it's funny. A friend of mine and I were driving and listening to this CD and we almost drove off the road laughing at this guy's vocals. Mick is relegated to a bad guitar sound and a cheap plastic crummy mix that even his rather copius talent is unable to overcome. Best description of this CD: Sonic Butthole Pus. Please pass on this disaster. The Coastin' Home CD portion is far better but not worth buying this garbage for. Mick Taylor deserves far better than this... |
