Max,
Evo da ga bacim na engleskom...

the fundamental note of the overtone series is A, which by calculatation of our fathers is 440 Hz. i mean, if you sing that particular note, and you have perfect pitch and all, record it and analyze it. this could be an experiment for you. do so, and you will see that your bottom frequency is around 440 Hz. then you would have numerous overtone series.

A voice of Elton John, elvis, Mariah Kerey, Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, they all have even order harmonics. that means that they are skipping series: If a person signs a staccato A note he will have 440Hz then 1320Hz then 1760 and all around that spectrum.

If you ever mixed in surround, you need to mix seprate channels, but you beed to input some of the entire mix in that particular channel. when you are trying to decide what part of the entire mix is going down which channel, you need to use a spectrum frequency analyzer. My point is that you will start dissolving yur entire mix, and maybe you never noticed but all of your instruments produce even ordered harmonic. Well mostly...that is why piano sound, guitar sound is so pleasable to our ears.

Well i can only show you by actually having you next to me...but definatelly i will look to find some literature for you...
