Odusevljen sam...
Arturia, koja je napravila odlicnu emulaciju Moog Modulara, zajedno sa Bob Moogom sada radi i emulaciju MiniMooga:
Arturia, in partnership with Moog Music, have announced the release of the Minimoog V at NAMM today.
Offering all the features of the original, the software version also brings polyphony, MIDI management, preset handling and, taking advantage of modern tools, additional functions are hidden beyond the control panels: a modulation matrix, a LFO, an arpeggiator, a chorus and a delay.
Using TAE, Arturia's proprietary technology for emulating analog circuits, "the Minimoog V offers an unchallenged quality of sound". Sharp filters, aliasing free oscillators and soft clipping limitations "guarantee that you have the best emulation released on the market".
Features of the original:
3 voltage controlled oscillators offering several waveforms (Triangle, Saw triangle, Saw, Square, wide rectangular and narrow rectangular). The third oscillator can modulate either the first two oscillators or the filter.
1 mixer built with an overload circuit.
1 legendary 24db/oct resonant filter.
2 ADSR envelope generators.
1 external audio input.
1 external oscillator and filter modulation input.
Additional features of the software version:
1 modulation matrix offering up to 6 different connections. 12 sources and 27 destinations.
1 LFO with sync to host.
1 arpeggiator with sync to host.
1 three-mode chorus.
1 stereo delay to be synchronized via MIDI.
Possibility to synchronize Osc2 to Osc1.
Price and shipping to be confirmed.
Minimoog V will be available for:
Windows 9x and higher: VST, DX, RTAS & HTDM and stand alone.
Mac OS 9: VST, MAS, RTAS & HTDM.
Mac OS X: VST, AU, RTAS & HTDM and stand alone.

OhmForce, koji je napravio odlicne VST efekte kao i Melohman synth i Oddity za Gmedia sada radi na emulaciji MiniMooga (jos jednoj pored gorepomenute):
Since the completion of the Oddity, Ohm Force and GMEDIA/Gforce have been working upon a very ambitious new project. Following many customers request and given the fascination and adulation that the Minimoog still commands they decided to develop a virtual Minimoog fit for the 21st century.
Two key elements form the backbone to this new instrument: sonic authenticity and comprehensive range of performance enhancements.
Having coded the critically acclaimed Oddity, Ohm Force have used the same analytical methods to detail every sonic subtlety of the Minimoog's analogue circuitry to create an instrument that has all the hallmark qualities of the original. Added to this, the Mini?Melohman (Which is a temporary working name) is equipped with the stunning new advanced performance controls that the Melohman feature set offers. If this isn't enough it also has an additional LFO/Envelope/MIDI modulation available for each parameter, multiple polyphony mode and many other simple enhancements designed with performance in mind.

Spectrasonics izbacuje Stylus RMX:
Spectrasonics gave an exciting sneak preview of their upcoming Stylus RMX Real time Groove Module, a brand new virtual instrument to be released later this year, which vastly expands on the company's best selling Stylus virtual instrument. The Stylus RMX plug-in is being developed by Spectrasonics new in-house software development team, and is the first product to use the company's powerful new S.A.G.E. (Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine) technology (See below). Stylus RMX will have dozens of innovative new features, a completely redesigned interface, a new core library and a strong focus on real-time manipulation.
The new core-library in Stylus RMX will have thousands of cutting-edge grooves and sounds that were created by Spectrasonics international sound design team, and produced by Eric Persing. The Stylus RMX core library will contain more than double the amount of sounds originally offered in Stylus, and contains all the original material as well. The new sounds and grooves in Stylus RMX substantially broaden the musical range of the original Stylus sounds to many new genres. Mixes are frequently broken down into individual tracks for flexibility and infinite combinations. Also new in Stylus RMX are hundreds of kits, as well as user kit construction. Users can create their own customized groove libraries, save them into the plug-in, and even share them with other Stylus RMX users on different platforms and hosts.
The release date for Stylus RMX is set for September 2004. The US suggested retail price will be $299, while the European price is set at 249 Euros.
Stylus RMX Highlights:
New S.A.G.E. technology! (Spectrasonics Advanced Groove Engine).
More than double the sounds of the original Stylus.
Thousands of grooves and hundreds of kits.
New interface design with full integrated Browser.
Real time auto sync to the beat, host sequencer tempo.
Syncable LFOs and Envelopes.
16 part Multi-timbral.
Separate outputs.
Comprehensive FX Racks.
Drag and Drop MIDI files into host sequencer.
User Kit building, User Groove Library creation.
Chaos Designer.
Expandable with any Groove Control sample library.
Expandable with Propellerheads REX1 and REX2 files.

I, konacno, ono sto ce oduseviti mnoge sa foruma, GigaStudio 3.0:
Tascam has announced the long-awaited new version of GigaStudio ? GigaStudio 3.0, sadly not as a plugin as hoped but it does offer support for VST effects. This new version, a from-the-ground-up rewrite of the original application, adds dozens of new features for composers, sound designers and music producers. Available in three versions ? Orchestra, Ensemble and Solo ? it offers up to unlimited polyphony, 96kHz/24-bit sample support, ReWire support, VST FX plugin support, and GigaPiano 2, real-time convolution and a new look and feel to maintain GigaStudio's presence at the forefront of the sampling market. And it retains the features that made it the professional choice for sampling, such as disk streaming, the lowest latency of any sampler and the best sound libraries in the world.
GigaStudio 3 adds a list of new features designed to make music production easier while producing the most authentic sampled instruments ever created.
Unlimited Polyphony ? in GigaStudio 3 Orchestra, dependant on hard drive speed. 160 voice polyphony in GS3 Ensemble, 96 voices in GS3 Solo.
VST Plug-In support ? use your favorite effects in GigaStudio.
Rewire support ? GigaStudio now provides virtual MIDI and audio connections between a sequencer and GS3.
24-bit sample support ? a new dimension of detail, without affecting polyphony.
96kHz sample support ? load 24-bit/96kHz instruments for stunning realism.
Expanded mixer ? now supports 128 channels and 32 fader groups.
Quick Edit ? by popular demand, edit real time parameters on the fly.
New User Interface look and feel ? a modern overhaul to the look of GigaStudio for improved workflow and usability.
Intelligent MIDI ? Legato, Alternation, Random modes and more.
Sample Recording ? Now the premier sample player can record samples, not just play them back. New GSIF 2.0-compatible soundcards now support input as well as output for recording or processing directly into GigaStudio.
Kernel-level MIDI ? Tascam's new MIDI input technology virtually eliminates latency and reduces jitter on the incoming MIDI data.
Convolution Surround placement ?using a native version of GigaPulse with extra channels for surround.
GigaPulse ? This processor models the resonance of a space, microphone or instrument body for the most realistic sampled instruments ever. A playback-only version, GigaPulse SP, is included with Orchestra, Ensemble and Solo. GigaPulse Pro is included with GigaStudio 3 Orchestra, and offers the ability to create your own reverb impulses and add them to instruments.
