Formed in November 2010, The Suburbians gained their name when a tongue tangled ex-girlfriend of Konstantiovic brother Ben was trying to describe their family?s Serbian heritage. Bursting from Essex with a mission to save good old fashioned, anthemic and euphoric rock, The Suburbians have been turning heads ? not least of whose is Motorhead and Manic Street Preachers producer Romesh Dodangoda who was blown away by the boys and sealed the deal to produce their debut album. Says Mark ?he likes to record quite raw, you can't hide behind effects and processing, which works well with our plug and play style?. Assembling the band after a competition landed them a main stage slot in front of thousands at the first ever Brighton marathon, the two brothers fight and write together whilst friends Charlie Roberts plays bass and Ben Nyari drums.
