Dve zvucne na jednom PC?!

Postovani,
imam dve zvucne kartice Delta 1010dl na PC,
konfiguracija je AMD Althon 64x2 5000+ 2.6Ghz, 2Gb ram, Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, Cubase 4.

Prilikom snimamnja na hard disk nema problema,samo je problem
prilikom reprodukcije i exportovanja fajla. javlja se pucketanje i to
ne na svim kanalima, nego na onim kanalima koje pokriva ova druga
kartica koja je naknadno dodana, a pojedinacno svaka radi ok.

Ako ste imali slicnih problema ili imate neko resenje , javi te se.

Mislim da to zavisi od DAW-a a ne od samih "zvucnih karata" kako ih pogresno nazivaju, naime program, software MORA DA ZNA da ima instalirane 2 karte. Kod mene, na LOGIC-u se to jednostavno radi u audio-MIDI setup-u, i pravi se tzv. "aggregate device" to jest kompleksan I/O interface koji se SASTOJI od 2 zvucne karte ili vise, i to radi bez problema i nema nikakvog krckanja. na mom primeru rade zajedno RME FF800, sint SH201 (audio in/out) MAC internal device, i FANTOM G7 i to mi se sve vidi u LOGIC-u i svaki "zna gde miu je mesto"

After the first card is installed and recognize, simply shut down the computer, install the 2nd PCI card and the drivers will automatically load. To synchronize the 2 cards you must connect a 75ohm s/pdif cable from the output of the first card to the input of the 2nd. In the Delta Control Panel, select the second Delta card and set its clock source to S/PDIF input and it should lock to the sample rate of the first card.

Da, da... dve karte moraju biti barem (hardverski) sinhronizovane medjusobno da bi radile u istom kompu. Ili ovako preko koaksijalnog S/PDIF-a, ili putem WordClock interfejsa (isto 75ohm, coaxial cable)... pa se tako podesi u control panelu.

pa m-audio u svom control panel mixeru ima opciju da jedan driver bude univerzalan za dve iste ili razlicite kartice od m-audio-a tj delta serije , meni nije pravio ikakav problem gde bi trebao da bude sb live kx drajveri + delta1010

Dve odvojene audio kartice u kompu nemaju nacina da budu sinhronizovane (a moraju biti, ako zelimo da radimo sa obe istovremeno, i ako zelimo da nam se semplovi na obe desavaju u istom trenutku, sinhrono), osim putem kabla na vec opisan nacin.

Bolje audio karte imaju poseban (najcesce "flat") kabl kojim se interno povezuju susedne karte u slotovima (i tada ne sluze samo za sinhronizaciju).
Recimo kod Lynx Studio karti taj port se zove LStream.

A: In Windows, up to 4 Delta Series cards can be used at the same time. Up to 3 Delta Series cards can be used in Mac OS X when using the latest Delta Series driver. For Mac OS 9, a MultiCard driver for up to 3 Delta Series cards is available as a Beta-Version. The Linux OSS-driver supports up to 8 cards, if the necessary resources are available.

Syncing two Delta Series cards together

Configuring two or more Delta cards together can be done by linking the cards together through the use of external hardware lock via a 75-Ohm RCA SPDIF cable to allow synchronization between the cards.

The Basics:

When linking Delta cards, one card sends the master clock signal. The rest of the cards that are synced must receive signal from the card sending the signal. The S/PDIF connections on the sound cards are color coded for in and out. On the Delta series sound cards, the out is white and the in is red. SPDIF cables can be obtained from any Music Industry store or Home Stereo store.

Note about SPDIF cables, these cables are not the same type of cabling used for analog audio, the internal resistance of the cable is different than for analog audio. Although analog RCA may appear to work, it is not reliable. Examples of SPDIF cables can be found at www.hosatech.com

1. Connect the 75-Ohm cable from the out (white) S/PDIF connection of the card sending master clock to the in (red) connection of the receiving card. Each additional card must be hooked in a daisy chain type of configuration.

2. Open the M Audio Delta H/W. The installed sound cards will appear down the right hand side of the panel. Select the card sending master clock.

3. On the Hardware settings tab of the master card select “Internal Xtal” for the “Master Clock setting”. In the “MultiTrack Driver Devices”, please select “Single and In-Sync”.

4. On the Hardware settings tab of all other synced cards, select “S/PDIF in” for the “Master Clock setting”. In the “MultiTrack Driver Devices”, please select “Single and In-Sync”.

After these steps are taken, the hardware is configured for use. The only step left is setting up your application to use the additional card(s).

Ako pravi S/PDIF ili WC koaksijalni kabl nije pri ruci, moze da posluzi i antenski 75ohm kabl, sa odgovarajucim konektorima, cinch [S/P DIF] ili bnc [WC]

Napomena:
Antenski 75ohm kabl je daleko bolja zamena za pravi sync kabl od obicnog cynch-cynch consumer audio kabla, mada svakako treba nabaviti prave kablove za ovu namenu.
