OutRun Returns In 2009!

Flagman Be Praised! SEGA have just announced that fan favourite OutRun is to make a High Definition return and allow players to face each other online on both the PlayStation Network and XBox Live. Titled OutRun Online Arcade and developed by Sumo Digital, it’ll be hitting your marketplace stores in Early 2009 - so something else to look forward to next year from SEGA!
You’ll be able to choose from 10 incredibly cool Ferrari’s and refamilarise yourself in the vibrant visual and audio world of OutRun - and challenge up to 6 friends to online races (trust me I am so up for challenging you guys on this believe me, there’s gonna be a British Racing Green F-40 destroying all commers). Traditional OutRun mode is joined by Time Attack and once again by Heart Attack mode - so watch out for giant beach balls and UFOs whilst you try and impress the girl.
Your online races will have voice abilties so you can taunt your mates as you drift round the outside of them with your incredible skills and achievement hogs will be pleased to know the 360 version will possess achievements and PS3 will have trophies too as well as leaderboards.
