Audio Ease has announced the forthcoming release of a Windows version of Altiverb, the convolution reverb, in VST and RTAS plug-in formats. The new version will be available before March 31st 2006 as a free download for current owners of Altiverb version 5 for Mac OS X. It will be shown at Frankfurt Musikmesse, Hall 5.1, stand d98b. The suggested retail price is $595.
The Windows release kicks off a series of Altiverb format additions slated for 2006: a version that runs on the Digidesign TDM chips will see light, Pro Tools 7 optimized RTAS versions will be released, and of course Intel-Mac compatibility is in the making as well.

The Windows version is available in VST and RTAS plug-in formats and is made available as a free download for all Altiverb 5 owners. The suggested retail price is $595. Audio Ease also plan to expand their library of acoustics. Their recordings already include the major concert halls of cities such as Vienna, Berlin, Sydney and Amsterdam, a wealth of legendary US recording studio's, and the interiors of over 30 vehicles including a Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet. For 2006 expect more planes and helicopters, a set of train interiors, more outdoor acoustics, and also, for music production, a series of Germany's most prestigious recording studios and a collection of French opera's and theatres.
The version 5.4 update for Mac OS X features the following changes:
- Solved problems with "load as Aux" and "load resets..." when loading presets and host settings.
- Solved problems with channel ordering in PT.
- Improved PT interface.
- Improved MAS interface.
- Improved VST interface.
- Overall improvements.
- Some bug fixes.

Uuuu...bas lepa vest....uvek sam imao utisak da zvuci bolje od postojecih Windows c.r.. A i impulsi kojih ima na audioease su fenomenalni.

Ja sam mislio da impulsi uvek isto zvuce, pa sam zato samo koristio SIR!:confused:

u pitanju su drugi impulsi..
Postoje li ti impulsi kao free negde za skinuti?

Ja sam mislio da impulsi uvek isto zvuce, pa sam zato samo koristio SIR!:confused:
Ma ..generalno kad bi radio blind test , verovatno bi to bilo suvise slicno da bi se konstatovala neka veca razlika....ali uvek ostaje onaj subjektivan osecaj da ti altiverb jednostavno bolje leze u mixu i da zvuci prostornije, mada i on ima neku neprirodnost izmedju 300 i 700 hz slicno kao i Waves IR ( barem one prve verzije na kojima sam ja radio)

pretpostavljam da altiverb ima svoj format za impulse..
